Non Profit Management and Advancement

I had the true honor of representing the good people of Buffalo and the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site at an event today bringing an end to a 37 year old mystery. In July of 1987, Theodore Roosevelt’s pocket watch was stolen from the TR Site in Buffalo while on loan from his home, Sagamore Hill. The case went cold after the theft until the watch resurfaced at an auction house in 2023. Today, the watch is finally home where it belongs. Congratulations and thank you to Sagamore Hill, the National Park Service, the FBI, the Roosevelt Family, and especially the staff and volunteers of the TR Site, many of whom are no longer with us. TR Site staff was instrumental to proving the watch’s authenticity which led to its return home. A stunning climax to my first 90 days in this role, I’m so excited to represent this organization and its incomprable staff and volunteers!
