Our Pikes Peak overall win this year with the all-electric F150 Lightning SuperTruck was very special. Driver Romain Dumas saved our day after we got hit with 26-seconds of time loss due to a technical issue. Would've loved to break some records without the stoppage, but we'll take the win and keep pushing and developing. This is one of the most challenging racing venues in the world where you're often hit with snow and ice, massive elevation change and high altitudes (5000 ft of climbing, 14,110 ft summit) and narrow roads with big drop-offs. To be fast here requires a bullet-proof high output powertrain, an effective aerodynamics package that can work under a wide variety of conditions and a chassis that can handle the crazy road-loads and 1600 hp, all while providing a stable, tunable platform. Kudos to the whole technical team for creating this total beast of a racetruck that gave our driver the confidence to push hard. If you want to learn more about the truck itself, here's a deep dive we did with Out of Spec Studios: https://lnkd.in/dQwHks7E 🏆🚗 #PikesPeak #FordPerformance #F150LightningSuperTruck

Great achievement Sriram, with The Most Truck ever.
It was stunning to watch Romain makeup that 26 seconds and still take King of the Mountain! Congrats to the team!
Absolutely love this. SuperTruck can have a spot in my driveway any day 😂
Truly incredible stuff, Ram, thanks for sharing!
Epic work!
Loved the deep dive! Congrats Sriram!
Way to go Sriram !!!
Sriram, the truck look amazing! Huge congrats, I love seeing EVs making such huge massive performance gains. That aero package looks outrageous though, how much downforce is that massive rear spoiler pushing at speed?
Awesome!

1wStunning pictures. If you don’t mind sharing, what was the technical issue that was fixed in 26 seconds?
