Why is it important to save energy through sustainable urban mobility, you ask? 1️⃣ Because energy and mobility poverty are rising, due to the cost of living crisis in Europe. 2️⃣ Operating public transport is still a major expense for city budgets - we need to reduce it through energy efficient transport will support affordable and sustainable transport infrastructures. 3️⃣ We need to shift to sustainable energy sources and autonomy, to move Europe towards climate neutrality by 2050. We need to fundamentally rethink how we move ourselves, but also commercial goods. But are we on the cusp of change? As the electric revolution gathers pace, and car manufacturers start expanding their model ranges with electric vehicles, the number of models that car buyers have to choose from is also increasing.
