Didn’t JD lose billions of dollars for putting DEI in their business? Stop hiring losers that flash the race and sex card when they don’t get the job. DEI was created by hedge fund owners so they can profit from the downside on businesses.

Let’s stop with this DEI nonsense! Meritocracy should be the only criteria when hiring or promoting employees! Inclusion is not filling quotas, but a) hiring the most talented candidates, irrespective of their ethnicity, age, gender and skin color, and b) giving the chance for all talented employees - irrespective of their ethnicity, age, gender and skin color - to thrive at the organization. Following these principles, and without any formal program in place, at my former company we had employees from 32 different ethnic backgrounds, speaking 22 native languages; from all religious, gender, race, educational denominations; with females being more than half of top executives.

How in the world did a company like John Deere that serves FARMERS go woke? My comments are not political but business - how could such a company with very professional highly paid executives make such a crazy marketing position that is totally opposite their customer base.? Can any business person please explain this decision to me?

With EOE laws, why was DE&I ever needed?

Diversity and inclusion are attractive and if inculcated in practical application positive. If they are tequired , mandated etc. , they are phony , useless and negative. Not the purpose or province of government or effective management.
