As summer draws to a close, we continue to introduce you to our exceptional group of interns. Meet Wyatt Schrader from the Commercial Credit department. What is your dream job? My dream job would be to be a GM of an NFL team (specifically the Colts). What has been the best part of your internship at STAR? The best part of my internship with STAR was working alongside other interns for our case study. The workshops we did together were very helpful in developing my professionalism and it was a great time getting to know everyone. What advice do you have for future interns? My advice to future interns would be that you get out what you put into your internship experience, so try your best and stay engaged with what you are doing.

STAR is proud to announce the promotion of Kyla Madison, AAP to Payment Services and Business Solutions Manager! After spending over a decade in banking, she is a graduate of the Lending Others Leadership Pipeline Institute program and is an accredited NACHA ACH professional. She is also a graduate of STAR’s leadership development program and is a member of the class of 2024 Greater Fort Wayne leadership development program. She is a leading member of STAR’s employee activities committee, leading events such as the United Way Kindergarten Countdown and annual food drive, along with the annual sponsorship in the Christmas Families program and STAR’s Employee Resource Group initiative. Kyla also volunteers for Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana, Inc and NeighborLink Fort Wayne. She was previously a Big Sister for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program. We don’t know how she does it all, but we are grateful to have her on the team! Thanks for all you do, Kyla!

Congrats to Maggie Wolf, who was awarded with one of STAR’s 2024 Future of Agriculture Scholarship. The Huntington University freshman is studying Agribusiness-Animal Production with plans to find a career in livestock production and sales, producing the best genetics possible for her operation while also providing show stock to the youth.
