Receiving the #DeepTech label underscores GERAD Tech's groundbreaking work in #hydrogen production, particularly with our cutting-edge #technologies such as non-thermal #plasma and #nanocatalysts for Hydrogen Sulfide Methane Reformation. For us, this recognition not only validates GERAD Tech's technological approach but also opens new avenues for additional funding, resources, and support to accelerate the company's growth and impact in the energy sector. But that's not all—we are also proud to have secured "La Bourse French Tech Emergence (BFTE)" grant in its maximum amount! This will 🚀 accelerate our development. Thin films are enablers of the energy transition, according to Brainport Eindhoven. In this article written by Innovation Origins NL, they zoom in on the different examples that were presented during a seminar organized by the High Tech Campus Eindhoven. Kalpana Systems is one of the examples mentioned how thin films can accelerate cleantech, utilizing a unique way of Spatial Atomic Layer Disposition (sALD). By coating battery electrodes with a thin film that stabilizes the electrode interface, Kalpana’s sALD technology helps to increase battery performance. 🌟 Efenco's Innovation Recognized in European Innovation Council's Tech Report 2023 We're excited to share that Efenco has been acknowledged in the European Innovation Council's Tech Report 2023 for our innovative approach to energy efficiency and emission reduction. 📊🇪🇺 🔍 What Does the Report Say About Efenco? 👀 Page 53 of the report lauds Efenco's work on improving the consumption of fuel, emphasizing our pyroelectric-driven and plasma-assisted combustion (PAC) process for gas-fired boilers. It notes: "Efficient combustion: disruptive approaches to improve the consumption of fuel can deliver energy efficiency and emission reduction where it is most needed. The approach pursued by the EIC-funded SME Efenco involves the introduction of a pyroelectric driven and plasma assisted combustion process for natural gas boilers." 🌱 Our Commitment to Reducing CO2 Emissions Immediate Impact: Efenco understands the critical need to reduce CO2 emissions. Our HERC Technology offers an immediate solution to this global challenge, showcasing reductions in emissions by 18%. Bridging the Gap: While the world shifts towards green energy, the necessary infrastructure still relies on combustion-based methods. Despite our collective move to greener solutions, the reality is that in the near term, CO2 emissions will increase due to the reliance on fossil fuels for manufacturing this new infrastructure. HERC's Pioneering Role: Our HERC technology stands out in this transition. HERC enables new-gen technology manufacturing with at least an 18% smaller carbon footprint. It's poised to reduce Europe’s total annual energy consumption and carbon emissions by over 5%. Reducing Pollution, Not Creating It: HERC's strength lies in reducing pollution at the same energy output.
