Controversially, for Livia Moore, Associate Partner at Antler, "95% of early-stage HR tech I see is something the world would be better off without". This is because many of these HR tech startups are "often overestimating how much value the employees will gain from" their tool and "how much they will love using it", Livia tells me in an exclusive UNLEASH interview. 2024 is off to a quick-paced start here at Gi Group Holding! And, honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. I have been thinking during many hours of planning over the last couple of months about what my team's key work priorities would be once the new year started and it seems my various work tasks have made the decision for me. As we begin this year, I am proud to be part of our efforts to integrate our new colleagues from @Kelly Europe into the Gi Group Holding family. In that context, one of my biggest HR priorities for this year (especially for coming months) will be to ensure that their welcome and onboarding are a success. That is why thoughts of corporate culture came to mind when examining this priority. There is something very specific about team integration processes after a company merger or acquisition. You want to ensure new colleagues feel safe and can thrive within the newly-blended business. However, you don't want to integrate them to such a strong degree that the individuality and special skills that enable them to bring new ideas and extra added value to the business collective and work team are stifled. So moving further in early 2024, my HR priority is to ensure our Kelly Europe colleagues feel welcome and secure as part of Gi Group Holding and that we can find as many ways as possible to help them flourish and let their talents shine.
