Congratulations to our very own Shivani Purohit for being approved for the H-1B Visa! Shivani came to the States in 2017, and graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management from Middle Tennessee State University. While at MTSU, she witnessed supply chain struggles first-hand and saw the ramifications of resources not reaching stores due to COVID-19. This ultimately piqued her interest in the field and fostered a desire to make a difference in the world of logistics. When asked what approval of the H-1B Visa means to her, she expressed that this opportunity has allowed her to gain crucial industry experience and grow as a person and a supply chain manager. While she hopes to pursue a Master's degree, she is currently enjoying her time at STG before taking next steps. Shivani's favorite part about working at STG is the family environment and the support from the team through difficult times. Shivani makes a difference every day at Steamboat.
