With my experience in Homecare, and having an elderly mum, I Know this is a neglected area of healthcare that we do not talk much about. Geriatrics healthcare focuses on the medical care and well-being of older adults, addressing the unique challenges and health considerations that come with aging. Fall Prevention, Cognitive Health, Pain Management due to chronic pain is common among seniors. Celebrating International Volunteer Day, Cargill Invites Volunteers in Gresik to Take Action to Prevent Stunting   Gresik, Indonesia, December 5, 2023. In commemoration of International Volunteer Day 2023, PT. Cargill Indonesia in Gresik held a collective action to provide nutritious supplementary food for pregnant and lactating women, children in playgroups and kindergartens in 4 locations in 3 villages in Manyar District including Community Health Center (Posyandu) in Desa Manyarejo, Manyarsidomukti, Manyarsidorukun and Kindergartens Istiqlaliyah Manyar. This annual celebration is a form of Cargill's appreciation for humanitarian action in the form of volunteers with the theme "The power of collective action: if everyone does it".   Together with 38 volunteers consisting of Cargill employees, stunting prevention volunteers, parents, Posyandu cadres, and PKK (Women Community) cadres provided 500 nutritious supplementary meals and health counseling to groups of breastfeeding mothers and mothers with children under five simultaneously in 4 different locations. The collective action aims to contribute to preventive and promotive efforts to reduce stunting in Manyar District, Gresik Regency. This collective action on International Volunteer Day is part of Cargill activities in Gresik that has been running since 2022 to reduce stunting prevalence and prepare the superior, healthy, and smart next generation. In the context of sustainable development goals, stunting is one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets, to eliminate hunger and all forms of malnutrition by 2030 and achieve food security. Handling stunting is also a mandate from the government of Indonesia through Presidential Regulation Number 72 of 2021, concerning the Acceleration of Reducing Stunting. Despite the importance of supporting declining songbird populations, current schemes lack provisions for songbird feeders. I hope we don't remain stuck in the trauma of our past as a nation, we are very good at talking about our past hurts and pointing fingers and blaming others as we do we forget about the children that are harmed right now more money should be spent on transforming the system to stop the cycle of intergenerational trauma we will watch as people scramble for compensation there will never be enough money for many Christopher Luxon, I hope that the focus is on moving forward and in creating a safe, inclusive NZ I suggest that regulatory authorities are fully funded to ensure all our children are safe from professionals AND All professionals who make Protected Disclosures are fully protected because our children can't make complaints about wrongdoing...professionals have to step in AND churches pay tax AND All monitoring mechanisms for the protection of children are effective AND the best interests of children and their voices TRUMP in all legal matters just a few things to pump money and focus into
