Co-founder and CEO at incident.io 🔥

Today, we’re super excited to announce the launch of incident.io On-call 🎉🚀 It’s always been our vision to build the single place you turn when things go wrong. We started by solving the immense pain that organizations feel when responding, resolving and learning from incidents with our Response product. Last year, we added Status Pages: a beautiful way to communicate effectively with your customers. That left one final missing piece. The most frequent question we’ve received from our customers since we founded the company has been: “when will you build an on-call product?” 📟 Well, today is the day. I’m thrilled to announce On-call: feature-rich, rock-solid-reliable, and a joy to use. We think it’s so good, you’ll break things on purpose. Here’s a few of my personal highlights: 👨👩👦👦 Built for humans: need to take your dog to the vet, or jump on the subway? With our “Cover Me” feature, tell us what times you need covered, then leave the rest to us. 📱 A beautiful mobile app, designed to be used at 2AM. Everything has been meticulously crafted to be efficient, intuitive and delightful. 🔔 Never miss a notification: we’ve built On-call with rock-solid-reliability, so you can be confident the right people will be notified, every time. This is just the start of what we’re building here - we can’t wait to hear what you think!

Looking forward to actually giving it a spin very soon! I suppose my lingering question is: will you be able to use your own on-call tooling? It would be pretty sucky to have to use the incumbents for resilience. I imagine you have a separate, isolated deployment for when the real one fails :-)

Stephen Whitworth you have no idea how perfect the timing is of incident.io releasing an on-call product! I have wanted to ditch our current vendor for years, however the competitors on the market are all pretty similar and none are worth the challenge of replacing a on-call vendor at a startup.... until now! My confidence that incident.io can create the perfect on-call system from scratch is at a 100% and I have already signed us up for early access! I am beyond excited to hopefully call 2024 the year we changed up our on-call systems! ❤️

"You’re not a human webhook" had me chuckling! Great looking product though, congrats!

Looks fantastic. I assume my interpretation of your video is correct … Is this effectively incident.io‘s version of Pager Duty but a core implementation rather than a integration.
