Well done

This is a heartwarming story only because of the outcome, and thank goodness for that! Any other outcome would be nothing less than tragic. Not to take away from the heroic actions and love this young boy demonstrated for his sister, but as someone involved in the industry where it is my mission to provide lasting solutions for dog owners and their canine companions - I want to unequivocally say that there is no place for half measures when approaching the training, selecting, and placing of dogs into society. There is a growing movement across the world that implies that to train a dog for reliable and safe behavior with any consequence is a bad thing (especially when using training aids to achieve those results). Well, not only is that patently wrong, but in situations where dogs exist without proper behavior and impulse control…we leave innocent individuals at risk to harm because of the shared public (and private) space we all occupy oftentimes with dogs. Any organization promoting falsehood about training with only “positive methodology” as a way to address canine misbehavior or ones that refuse to acknowledge a dog for the animal it is should be immediately ignored as an authority or subject matter expert with respect to dogs with problematic behaviors or histories. Conor McGregor: a better fighter or businessman? It's difficult to find the exact numbers on McGregor due to undisclosed figures, but it's estimated that he has brought in an average of $37 Million per year over his career from his UFC fights and cross-over boxing bout against undefeated champion Floyd Mayweather. (The boxing match in 2017 was one of his biggest individual paydays.) On the other hand, when McGregor sold his majority stake in the Proper 12 Whiskey brand in 2021, the deal was reported to have fetched around $600 million. In addition, McGregor has various media appearances, social media marketing, fashion deals and most recently starred in the remake of the 80's film classic 'Road house', where he is reported to have made an easy $5 million, but again, it is hard to confirm the real numbers. Much to Devin Haney's dismay, promoter Eddie Hearn Matchroom Boxing avoided yesterday purse bid for the Devin Haney vs. Sandor Martin fight, leaving Top Rank Boxing as the sole bidder, putting down $2.42 million to secure the match. From this amount, Haney will receive $1,524,600 for his title defense of the WBC light welterweight belt against Martin (42-3, 15 KOs). Martin, the Spaniard, will get $653,400. For Haney, this low bid is concerning for his career and marketability, indicating that his defeat against Ryan Garcia has had significant repercussions. It's a significant decline for Haney (31-1, 15 KOs), who isn’t even getting $2 million for this fight. This raises doubts about his chances of securing major paydays against Gervonta 'Tank' Davis or Teofimo Lopez. Haney must win this fight against Sandor; a loss could relegate him to fighting on lesser-known networks against similarly struggling fighters. Haney was not really a draw before being demolished by Garcia. Now, his value is even lower. Fans don’t believe the guy is real. He barely beat Loma in a really close fight that should have been a draw and then got rolled by Garcia. Cheating or not, Devin was getting hit over and over and over again. He could not get out of the way of those punches. The Kambosas fights were his launching pad but after Loma KO’d Kambosas the way he did, those two wins lost their luster.
