Gregg: How many years of experience should they have? Client: I don't care. Best answer I've been given to this question. Here's how the remainder of my call went.... Client: I only need to know 2 things. Gregg: What are they? Client: Have they successfully done a similar job before? And do they have the capability to do it for us? Whether they have 5 or 40 years of experience is irrelevant to me. The lesson? Focus more on hiring the right person. Not the "correct" amount of experience.
