Just four years ago, I started a milestone on behalf of my family: being the first to enter college. In that same year, I found myself applying for unemployment benefits for my father losing his job as a truck driver while finding rent relief programs with a family that used to be fed by food stamps. Being a first-generation student has taught me so much resilience and pride in the community I grew up in. It taught me how to adapt, network in new spaces, and be unapologetic for the values I was raised in. Now, that dream has finally come to a close. I'm excited to say that I've officially graduated Stanford University with a B.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Management Science & Engineering. These two degrees were only possible from the immense support, mentorship, and inspiration I've been able to receive. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all of my managers, mentors, professors, and classmates that gave me a chance and made me who I am today. Thank you :)
I’m so honored to be a part of your journey and I’m excited to see where you’ll head next! ❤️
