📱 Are #smartphones just communication devices? Yeah, not anymore they're not. They are the keys to our lives, holding personal, financial, and sensitive data. They have access to nearly everything about us. Recently, I had the (dis)pleasure of sharing my phone theft story with Fox News and discussing what can happen if your phone is stolen. 🚨 Mobile device theft is becoming more frequent and brazen with thieves taking phones right out of victim's hands or snatching them from restaurant tables. They then gain access to your bank accounts, social media, text messages, and other personal information. They can drain bank accounts and take over your entire life. If you've ever had your phone stolen like I have, you know how nerve-racking that experience is. Protect yourself. Do the following. Check out the story from Fox11 News. 👇👇👇👇 https://lnkd.in/euJtbVKy 🙏 A big thank you to Gina Silva and the FOX 11 Los Angeles - KTTV team for highlighting such an important topic. #CyberSecurity #MobileSecurity #Fox11News #iphone #hackers XYPRO Technology

Not a nice thing to be relieved of ones phone Steve. I do think that we have become to reliant on one device. For example, we stopped remembering phone numbers, because it is now on our phones, what do you do in an emergency if you can't remeber a friend or loved ones number and your phone is missing? Sometimes, i think of how many people lost their jobs, because smart phones made so many things obsolete. Think of simple things like alarm clocks. GPS, calculator....the list goes on an on... ,
