After three incredibly rewarding years at fifty-five, I found out last week that I was part of layoffs amid a larger organization restructuring. During my time there, I was blessed to be mentored by some incredible people, especially my manager Christie Ray Harrison, who supported and believed in me every step of the way. There are so many people I owe my gratitude to, but special thanks to Cedric Bourlet, Robin Clayton, and Hugo Loriot for giving me the opportunity. Working at 55, I got to wear many hats: technical project manager, data architect, and ML engineer, among others. I will of course be taking a short break to catch my breath, but I am also already looking forward to my next opportunity and my next combination of hats. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any advice or leads in the #dataengineering and #dataarchitecture fields or beyond.
It was definitely great to work with you. I can't wait to see what will be your next move: chose a hat or try a new one?
You got this. Your talent will shine at your next landing spot.
Dustin Stewart it was such a pleasure and honor to get to know you and to work with you over the past few years!
Hey Dustin, sad to hear that. Thanks for all the good times and good laughs.
