When people hear the word fundraiser, what comes to mind? An internal sense of dread? A quick exit strategy to the nearest door? I think we can easily overcomplicate what it means to be a fundraiser. At the end of the day, a good fundraiser is someone who can effectively help people to support something they care about - and then shows how that very same support has made an impact. We all want to see the things we love thrive. A fundraiser has the opportunity to have a front row seat to both the joy of giving and the joy of seeing the gift make a tangible difference and to know you had opportunity to add value to the entire process.
