The CLLLC isolated DC/DC converter provides a soft-switching capability to enable a higher switching frequency and smaller magnetics size.  The analog integration on a C2000 real-time microcontroller enables peak current mode with control loops fully in hardware. C2000 real-time MCUs offer a scalable portfolio to address the variety of integration needs and discrete options in on-board charger systems.

✅️The serial peripheral interface (SPI) is one of the most widely used interfaces between microcontroller and peripheral ICs such as sensors, ADCs, DACs, shift registers, SRAM, and others. ✅️ SPI is a synchronous, full duplex master-slave-based interface. The data from the master or the slave is synchronized on the rising or falling clock edge. This reference design offers a Bluetooth® 5.0 SimpleLink™ option with better industrial noise immunity, more range, and less power for industrial applications such as power tools that operate from a 5cell Li-ion battery. This power stage reference design uses a single Bluetooth low energy (BLE) MCU for both wireless connectivity and three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor trapezoidal control, designed in a single board, reducing the BOM and hence overall cost. The design demonstrates the BLE RX sensitivity of–96 dBm even when the power stage is driving motor, showing the robustness of RF performance. The design also demonstrates a small form factor power stage with overcurrent and short-circuit protection by MOSFET VDS sensing.
