Claris, an Apple company has updated it's product roadmap and announced the merge of the FileMaker and Claris platforms. It would seem fake to pretend that, after so much work on supporting Claris Server, this simplification would go without a little bit of frustration. But in the end, this is such a relief and that was definitely the thing to do. Exciting news! The human-machine interface is evolving to a whole new level in terms of being intuitive and available within context. The Rabbit-like LAMs are leading the pack, and it's only a matter of time before Apple Vision Pros and Meta Ray-Ban glasses follow suit. Let's hope privacy and security can achieve the same level of intuitiveness and ease. These are exciting times as we move from information-providing assistants to action-taking assistants.
