🌟The Power of Recognition - Boosting Morale & Motivation🌟 Recognition in the beauty industry isn't just about winning awards; it's about acknowledging the hard work, dedication, and passion that you and your team pour into your salon every day. One way recognition can make a significant difference is by boosting morale and motivation. When your efforts are recognised, they instil a sense of pride and motivation. It’s a reminder that the hard work is paying off and that others see and appreciate your dedication. This acknowledgement can be incredibly motivating, pushing you to continue striving for excellence. It can also foster a positive work environment, as the appreciation shown can boost morale and strengthen the team's spirit, making everyone feel more connected and driven to succeed.🩷

Co-founder @ Bondly | Save time organizing team events | +1,000 team event options | Transparent pricing | Reserve now, pay later | Manage recurring events for multiple teams easily | Across the US and Europe
My company makes an employee recognition service, so we better be the best at it ourselves. And yes, we’re nailing it. Let me tell you my personal story. I believe in our company’s vision more than anyone else, but honestly, there were times when I felt overwhelmed. I saw all the things I want to do, but also saw myself not being able to do it all, or do it well enough. On those days, I felt down and cranky. So, what did our team do about this? See the photo attached? It’s a little note from our sales team. That small compliment pulled me from the depths and lifted my spirits sky-high. At Bondly, recognition doesn’t just come from your boss. EVERYONE at Bondly seeks out chances to compliment and thank each other like hyenas on the hunt, grabbing every opportunity we can. Even if one person is having a tough time, someone else in the team is likely giving a compliment, and that keeps us all going. Don’t assume your team knows you think they’re doing a great job. They can’t read your mind, so you gotta say it. And when you do, it will transform your team. Like, share, and follow our page to hear about our next journey!

It can be disheartening when hard work goes unnoticed. Remember that recognition might not always come immediately. Stay focused on your goals, communicate your achievements, and consider discussing your efforts with supervisors or colleagues. Sometimes, proactive self-advocacy is necessary for acknowledgment. Additionally, seek personal fulfillment in the knowledge that you're contributing and growing professionally. Recognition may not always be vocalized, but consistent dedication often pays off in the long run.

Organizations and leaders of people can do so many right and good things to make a work place a “good place to work”. But if we do not practice this one thing, it’s impossible to be a GREAT place to work! And it’s this…. Understanding and PRACTICING Appreciation. It’s important to know the difference between Appreciation and Recognition. Recognition is focused on a person’s achievements where Appreciation is an expression for their value as a person. It’s important that we take time to learn others language of appreciation… how do they best hear and receive being appreciated. Do you know your own appreciation language? What are ways that you have felt appreciated at work? We’d love to hear from you.
