Signals play a vital role in this, allowing you to control and interact with running processes. Today, we'll explore three essential signals: SIGINT, SIGTERM, and SIGKILL. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗼: 🔱 𝙎𝙄𝙂𝙄𝙉𝙏 (𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙪𝙥𝙩): This signal requests a process to gracefully terminate. It's often used via Ctrl+C to stop a program and allows for cleanup before exit. 𝙎𝙄𝙂𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙈 (𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚): SIGTERM provides a firmer notification to terminate. It gives the process more time for orderly shutdown compared to SIGINT, and is preferred for process termination. I experimented with numerous ways and commands on many operating systems, including Linux. 🌐 Logging into Websites Using IP Addresses: Another intriguing topic was logging into websites with IP addresses rather than domain names. This expertise is especially valuable for network managers and security experts. I discovered how to use IP addresses to get around DNS difficulties and visit websites directly. ✨ The hands-on experience and expert guidance provided at this seminar continue to be immensely beneficial.
