Title: Embracing the Unpredictability: My Take on Sundays Sunday, often hailed as the day of rest and rejuvenation, holds a special place in our weekly routine. For many, it's a time to unwind, spend quality moments with loved ones, and recharge for the week ahead. However, I have a different perspective. Sundays are uncertain and filled with a myriad of planning and decision-making, making it a day I occasionally struggle to enjoy. In this article, I want to share my thoughts on why Sundays can sometimes be challenging and why I prefer weekdays' busyness. The Dilemma of Uncertainty: Sundays have a unique way of presenting us with endless possibilities. While some people relish this freedom, it can be overwhelming for others, including myself. The uncertainty of how to spend the day often leads to a series of questions: What can I do today? Where should I go? How can I convince my family or friends to join me? The need to make these decisions can sometimes sap the joy out of the day, leaving me feeling restless rather than rejuvenated. The Burden of Planning: Unlike weekdays, often filled with structured activities such as work or college, Sundays require a proactive approach to planning. From deciding on leisure activities to organizing outings, creating a memorable experience can be stressful. While some people thrive on this planning process, I find it mentally exhausting. I would rather embrace the structure and purpose of weekdays, where my time is already allocated to college, internships, and other commitments. The Beauty of Weekdays: Unlike popular belief, weekdays are more enjoyable and fulfilling. The structured nature of weekdays provides a sense of purpose and direction. I can focus on my studies or excel in my internship without constantly pondering how to make the most of my free time. This eliminates the pressure of decision-making and allows me to feel productive and accomplished. While some individuals eagerly anticipate Sundays as a day of relaxation, I have come to terms with my reservations about this particular day. The uncertainty and planning can sometimes hinder my ability to fully enjoy the experience. Instead, I find solace in the structure and productivity of weekdays, where my time is already dedicated to various commitments. Nevertheless, I recognize the importance of finding a balance and appreciate the opportunity for personal growth that Sundays offer. It's all about embracing uncertainty and making the most of the day, regardless of our personal preferences. #experience #internship #internships #opportunity #sap #share #work #growth #people #quality #productivity #planning #beauty

During a recent meeting with Diya Prasanth, amidst our work discussions, she mentioned something that resonated with me. She said, "You are very approachable." These words struck a chord, reminding me of my journey as a leader and the milestones I've achieved. It's moments like these that remind me of the strides I've made as a leader. But let's be real, it hasn't always been smooth sailing. I've had my fair share of doubters, those who've questioned if I'm cut out for this leadership gig. It used to mess with my head. But I've learned to shake it off and keep pushing forward. Because here's the thing: not everyone's gonna get you, and that's okay. You gotta know whose opinions actually matter and whose you can brush off. It's all about keeping it real and staying true to yourself. So here's to embracing growth, giving props to those who see your hustle, and never letting the haters dim your shine. #LeadershipJourney #GrowthMindset #Appreciation #Approachability #KeepMovingForward

Recently, my team and I faced a significant decision regarding our club, one that weighed heavily on us for quite some time. While I won't delve into the specifics, the aftermath of our decision left me contemplating a crucial aspect of leadership: empathy. A week ago, when we announced our decision, we encountered a spectrum of reactions, particularly from those outside our immediate team—the alumni. Many urged us to give it another try, questioning if we had explored all avenues, offering unsolicited advice, and even suggesting we continue fighting. I do highly appreciate and respect the concern they have towards the club. However, amidst the barrage of opinions, what struck me the most was the lack of empathy. It seemed that few paused to consider the emotional toll and struggles my team and I endured over the past year to keep the club afloat. The decision to close it wasn't made lightly but was the culmination of exhaustive efforts and consideration. Yet, empathy seemed reserved only for those not in leadership roles. This experience led me to ponder: why is it that when someone assumes a leadership position, empathy towards them often diminishes? We expect leaders to empathize with others, yet we overlook the need to empathize with them. Of course, there were individuals who stood by us from the start, and eventually, even those who initially opposed our decision came around to understand our perspective. But it begs the question: where did empathy go in the first place? Why did my team and I have to seek it out? Leadership isn't just about making tough decisions; it's also about navigating the emotional terrain and fostering a culture of empathy. As leaders, we're not immune to the need for understanding and support. It's essential to recognize that behind every decision lies a human experience, one deserving of empathy and compassion. Let's not forget that empathy should flow in all directions, regardless of position or title. It's time to reimagine leadership as a collaborative journey where empathy reigns supreme. Feel free to share your perspectives on this topic in the comments ✨ #Leadership #Empathy #Collaboration #Reflections #PersonalExperience #ProfessionalDevelopment

Imagine this - you've been working with some people, then one day - BOOM! You're instantly friends. That's what friendship in a professional setup can feel like, especially when mixed with a bit of magic. That's what it was like for me when Yogesh L, Devika M magically became my friends and not just someone I knew. We've been working together for over three years at Let Us Dream, an organization we are a part of. We knew each other, but it was all work, nothing more. But something changed when we worked together for the LUD conference last year. During all the stress and hard work, we started having a laugh and a proper chat. Before we knew it, we were more than just colleagues; we'd become mates. Now, we're talking away almost daily about everything and anything, not just work. We put our heads together, we plan, and we have a right laugh. We push each other to go that extra mile and have each other's backs when things get tough. So here's my advice: Don't be afraid to let people in. Don't let a rough past stop you from making new friends. We're all social creatures, so it's only natural that we need a bit of banter and camaraderie in our lives. Remember, friendship isn't just one big thing; it's loads of little things. So go out and find your squad! Let People Love You!

These are the activities I adore organizing as part of my HR role! They're the moments that reignite my passion for my work every day. Let's keep building connections and creating memories together! 🎉 #hr #teambuilding #workfun #passion
Who says work can't be a blast? We recently tested that notion with a hilarious (and slightly chaotic) cup-stacking challenge. Two teams faced off, tasked with building the tallest tower. But here's the twist: each team got a ball they could strategically use to...well, let's say the other team's tower had a few surprise demolitions! The result? Pure, unadulterated fun. Desks became impromptu climbing frames, cheers erupted with every successful stack, and the competitive spirit was infectious. It was like a trip back to childhood, filled with laughter, friendly screams, and a healthy dose of team spirit. But why are these lighthearted activities so important? Here's the secret: 1. Boosts morale: A little laughter goes a long way. Fun activities create a positive and relaxed atmosphere, lifting everyone's spirits and fostering a more enjoyable work environment. 2. Break down barriers: Hierarchies melt away when you're cheering alongside colleagues or celebrating a playful victory. This builds stronger connections and fosters better communication across teams. 3. Enhances creativity: Stepping away from the routine allows for fresh thinking. Fun activities can spark new ideas and approaches to problems, leading to innovation. Our cup-stacking challenge is just one example. The key takeaway? Don't underestimate the power of play! By incorporating fun activities into the workday, you're not just creating happy employees – you're building a stronger, more collaborative team that can tackle any challenge. 1yIt's crucial to question the notion that Sundays are burdensome and weekdays are inherently more enjoyable. Embracing flexibility and finding joy in leisure time can contribute to a healthier work-life balance. #balance #mindfulness #rethinktheweekdaybias
