🔃 🔁 "Break the damn system." Virginia Lacayo, Ph.D. and I know that we are all here in this space and time to answer the call to usher in systemic radical change. It's not about improving, it's about completely uprooting. Virginia is a complexity scientist, or a "Scientist Witch" and is driving massive change, her study includes - "complex adaptive systems like the world, like society but also business, industries, organizations, families - any group of humans that are interacting with each other in unpredictable and uncontrollable ways are complex adaptive systems and it's well known that complex systems like that are constantly evolving and the systems need some level of stability to survive and at the same time it needs periodically, moments of chaos...to evolve." Drawing on her phenomenal article that I re-posted last week https://lnkd.in/dgQ9BGcM, Virginia Lacayo, Ph.D. shares not only the fact that women are on the forefront of the revolution, but that we always have been. Women have the essence inside them to create the change that humanity needs and the skillset to lead like the indigenous Cacica - and we also must unlearn and re-learn the necessary skills to introduce the systemic change needed to create the balance with the divine feminine. How to know if you're being called? In this space and time, "the level of discomfort is so big that you feel an urge that is biological to make radical changes." Answer the call, we are standing by. Virginia shares that when someone is ready for "me, we, all" - reach out to us. I (✨ Amy P.) guides at the "me" level and then Virginia Lacayo, Ph.D. leads at the "we" and "all" level - tune in to see what we mean by this. #NewPodcastEpisode #RadicalChange #Coaching #ConsciousLeadership #Cacicas #Women #SystemicChange #Revolution

In navigating the landscape of psychedelic therapy as a woman, I've come to appreciate the difference between 'early adopters' who are in leadership roles and traditional leaders. Embracing the role of an early adopter is a path I'm cautiously treading. It's filled with challenges and opportunities for growth, these are distinct from what I have seen in conventional leadership roles. Early adopters are those who venture first, gently paving the way for others, setting subtle trends, and opening doors quietly. Early adopters gently nudge change into motion. Early adopters are the quiet revolutionaries, softly questioning the status quo, enabling others to follow their lead. This shift from pioneering to establishing new norms is pivotal in women's movements, in the psychedelic sector and in health care. In our modest efforts to step forward, early adopters are not just leading, we're crafting a path that supports and empowers future generations of women leaders to assume roles of influence and make their unique mark confidently. #earlyadopters #psychedelictherapy #womeninpsychedelics

I help young women and teen girls to discern and discover their ideal selves and give expression to their feminine power, feminine presence and feminine poise | Customer Service Specialist | Shoe Connoisseur
When you think of a magnet or something magnetic, you think of something that pulls, connects, associates, binds, and bonds, right ? The magnetic is that which makes things to bond as things flow. Everything is in constant flow and there is a continuous formation at the same time. Things are either being pulled together or repelled according to kind. This flow is what we call energy. The forming aspect of this energy is what we witness as magnetism. It comes in the form of bonding. In social terms, we call it relationship. We call it association. We call it union. We call it fellowship. It was an honor to witness my fave therapist Abigail Oni receive her honorary doctorate in transformational leadership, social work and community development. When she called me to share the good news, I was more than excited and overjoyed at this wonderful acknowledgement of the good work she does in her field. By her professional practice, she’s been fostering valuable relationships and encouraging other women, building families, relationships, and the society. As a woman, the feminine is in you that brought about the female you are. Connectivity, as a virtue, empowers the woman’s innate ability to form bonds that nurture relationships and preserve societal values. Reflect on the relationships you have now…can you point to connections you’ve made and what it is that brought about those connections ? ❤️💜💗 #BeingaWoman #FemininityEnthusiast #FemininityCoach #Femininity #FemininePresence #InfluentialWomen

Amongst beta, theta, gamma , omega - it’s the alpha we talk about the most! 🤔 There are four types of alphas, however let’s talk about the aware adaptive alphas, whether they are male or female, are the most successful at influencing others because they know when to turn up or turn down their alpha. 🫣 Female alphas in leadership roles are not only a stomping authority, they also are able to buffer the dark side of being an alpha. Top 5 things about a female alpha at work : 1. Her straightforward attitude will disturb you 😝 2. She won’t stop even if she fails 🙃 3. As a leader, you might hate her bossy attitude - a word of caution don’t fall in love with her guts 😍 4. She can pull her teams confidence through anything 💪 5. No male rival intimidates her 😎 However , what I have learned so far is that men tend to be proud to be an alpha and women tend to apologize for their alpha-like tendencies, Well..!! #inclusionmatters #inclusiveleadership #teambuilding #culturematters PS: like they say - “Boss lady at work” .. Aditya Malhotra thanks for the pic 📸

If we dictate to people what they can and cannot do to overcome their challenges, we risk stifling individual creativity and limiting societal progress. Imposing constraints on freedom not only restricts personal autonomy but also inhibits the exploration of diverse perspectives and innovative solutions. This restriction extends to children and young people, shaping their understanding of "acceptable behavior" and confining their ability to think critically and independently. Instead, we must foster an environment that values inclusivity, where all voices are heard, and all forms of expression are embraced. By encouraging diverse viewpoints and avenues of exploration, we enrich our collective knowledge and cultivate a more inclusive and dynamic society. As Albert Einstein once said, "The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking." Embracing diverse perspectives and fostering open dialogue is essential to expanding our collective understanding and advancing as a global community. #FreedomOfExpression #Inclusivity #DiversePerspectives Hopefully you enjoy my posts and will follow me on LinkedIn. Next up at #TheArtOf #Leadership Women Ottawa is Dr. Shimi Kang MD, FRCPC, who is speaking to Resilience, Adaptability and Wellness. Specifically, three ways to rethink the world (using three main centres of our brains). 1. Our gut brains needs rest, downtime, breath for wellness. Slow it down. 2. Our heart brains need connection to others, collaboration and safety. 3. Our heads are navigating constant change and need to play, iterate and innovate for joy and optimism. Where focus goes, neurons grow.
