Today, we are taking another step towards decarbonizing our production sites in France. After a first CPPA signed in 2023 to supply green energy to the Group's largest yeast plant in Marcq-en-Baroeul, we are renewing our commitment by signing a second CPPA concerning our Biospringer by Lesaffre site in Maisons Alfort near Paris. Covering a forecast annual purchase volume of around 34 GWh, this additional #CPPA provides for the supply of green electricity from an #agrivoltaic project (synergy between agricultural production and photovoltaic energy) developed by Groupe Qair in the Hauts-de-France region. It will enable the Group to continue accelerating its energy transition by increasing the share of renewable energies in its energy supply.

VALOREM Selects Alliance Group for PPA on Vigeant Photovoltaic Park Valorem, a prominent energy producer, initiated a consultation with market buyers seeking Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for various wind and solar projects in development. Following a thorough evaluation process, Valorem has chosen the Alliance group, a federation of agri-food Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), as the buyer for the electricity generated by the future Vigeant photovoltaic park. This agreement spans a period of 20 years. TotalEnergies Inks Deal for 2.1 MWp Solar Project with Hiep Phat International Agricultural Co. Ltd in Vietnam Hiep Phat International Agricultural Co. Ltd (Hiep Phat), a prominent starch manufacturer in Vietnam, has inked a long-term deal with TotalEnergies to deploy a 2.1 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at its Tay Ninh plant and office facilities. This ground-mounted solar and agri-PV project in Vietnam will supply 20% of their energy needs with clean power. Comprising over 3,600 solar panels, this PV system is projected to produce approximately 3,250 MWh of renewable electricity annually. Embracing Renewable Energy: Solar Panels Installed on the Bentong Plant in Malaysia Austin Powder Malaysia has advanced its sustainability efforts by installing solar panels at its Bentong plant, underscoring its commitment to Sustainability principles. The first phase, featuring 98.9 kW of solar panels on the Raw Material Warehouse, has been completed. This initiative, which received government subsidies covering 45% of the investment costs, is expected to reduce grid electricity consumption by 20-25%. The project aligns with Austin Powder's global sustainability strategies and Malaysia's Green Technology Roadmap 2050. Ongoing efficiency monitoring will guide the second installation phase, with the Working at Heights management system ensuring safe maintenance in the future.

We’re joining forces with other industry leaders to bring a first-of-its-kind project to life! We recently signed strategic cooperation agreements with Jiangsu Dafu Technology Equipment and Guangdong Hydro Power Energy Investment to build the world's first hydrogen-methanol integrated equipment manufacturing project using renewable energy. Designed to meet the growing demand for green methanol and eco-friendly solutions in sectors such as transportation and industrial processes, we plan to construct a 100,000 tonnes/year e-methanol plant. The plant will be powered by our patented ETL technology, which currently produces over 200,000 tonnes of e-methanol per year across our clients’ plants in China. To enable integration with renewable energy, our partners Jiangsu Dafu will provide innovative smart power products with energy storage capabilities, while Guangdong Hydro Power will drive the project with their vast expertise in clean energy project investment, development and management.
