Sword Thrive helped Andy get back to traveling and being active with his family after battling (and beating!) cancer took a toll on him physically. Read his story → "In 2021 I fought cancer and I won! I endured 4 months of chemo and then surgery to remove a couple of organs… I lost a lot of my physicality. It was a huge challenge to try and resume a non-sedentary life, and I was actually avoiding activities with my family and friends. My wife had access to Sword PT through her employer, and… through her Digital PT sessions she has been able to eliminate her pain. She encouraged me to join Sword, and in 2023 I met my therapist, Donna. She diagnosed my problems, created a structured therapy program, and she continually modified my sessions to address my strengths and weaknesses. About 6 months into my therapy, my family and I vacationed in San Diego… It was a lot walking! Instead of my typical 5,000 to 10,000 steps each day, I was getting 20-25,000 steps a day! …I had a great time creating memories with my wife and children and especially our grandsons.
