Kolkata Calling Kolkata IT Hub
I came across a recent post where an individual from Mumbai expressed his views on Kolkata and its lifestyle, depicting a rather pessimistic image. As I delved into the comments, it struck me that this person may not have visited the city in the last decade, or his perspective could be significantly outdated, possibly spanning two decades, and in need of an update.
Contemplating the remarks, it occurred to me that such opinions shared on platforms like LinkedIn could potentially sway the broader LinkedIn community, including influential industry figures, from considering Kolkata as a viable destination for their business endeavours'.
Indeed, there are Kolkata residents on LinkedIn who tirelessly advocate for new opportunities in the city, ensuring that the wider audience acknowledges Kolkata's abundant resources and skills. They are committed to portraying Kolkata as a flourishing centre brimming with potential for growth and development.
The enduring negative portrayal of Kolkata has marred its reputation for decades, still lingering under the scrutiny of industry leaders. It's imperative to recognize Kolkata's capacity to accommodate numerous industries, provided it receives the right portrayal. Continuously amplifying negative sentiments, even when not substantiated, can significantly influence perceptions. The human mind tends to resonate with what it sees and hears, often despite factual inaccuracies.
It is our collective responsibility to cultivate a positive atmosphere and promote equal growth across all cities as every city has its own beauty. Kolkata is nowhere less
