Wonderful opportunity to volunteer with Our Big Kitchen.

As we near the end of the year, with the holiday season and lights increasingly in sight, I realized that it also marks my first year at HQ. And what a year it’s been.  Reflecting over the past year, I’m incredibly inspired and grateful for everything we’ve achieved. More than anything, it’s the people. A remarkably talented group - distributed globally between Israel,  the US, Poland, the UK, Singapore, the Philippines, and India - working together and learning from one another across different time zones and cultures.  When I reflect back to when I first joined HQ, the company was a mere six months after the merger between Hip Mobility and SummitQWest. We were a team of 30, navigating our way through a post-pandemic new normal with many working remotely.  I met a team that was driven and dedicated but also welcoming and warm. There was a willingness to reinvent the wheel and a genuine openness to come together. Honestly, I would never have guessed the merger had only just happened...  Over this time, we’ve expanded, we’ve matured, and we’ve grown—all the while keeping that “start-up culture” alive and kicking in everything we do.  It’s hard to summarize a year in words and the many, many highlights, but here are a few of my favorites:  🟡 We hired 16 new team members, including Merav Alon Tal Bogan Ihab Khateeb Daniel Leon Stern Yoram Freund Charity Rumery Susan Lichtenstein Hali Fatuga Tony D'Auria Margo Watroba Darryl Supersad Tanny Ahmet Eric Lim Wojciech Stoiński 🟡 We built, designed, and moved into our state-of-the-art HQ headquarters in Israel - all in a matter of months! Well done, Didi Hovav. 🟡 We launched a new territory in APAC led by Eric Lim 🟡 We hosted our leadership team in Israel twice in one year - in March and September! Jeff LaFave Aaron LaFave Erik Weber Charity Rumery Itay Ovits Noam Nir Amiad Solomon Yoram Freund 🟡 We had global team members from different locations meeting face-to-face in Poland, the UK, the US, and Singapore.  🟡 We rolled out our brand HQ swag and shipped globally - including t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, and more, designed by our Head of Creative, Merav Alon, with the help of Shayma Sharif. 🟡 We have established and laid the foundations of our company culture. 🟡 We engaged globally with online activities and games, not forgetting to enjoy as well. Oh, and outside of the office, we were also busy…  🟡 There were four newborn babies this year - congratulations to all new parents 🍼 🟡 One HQ employee received their US citizenship 🇺🇸 🟡 There was one wedding 👰🏻🤵🏻 🟡 There was one wedding proposal 💍 Thank you, HQ, for what was a fantastic year. It’s fun to look back and even more exciting to think about what next year will bring!
