Hi LinkedIn Family! Attention Please⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Hackathons & Certificates 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 I have seen many post regarding to certificates and hackathon winner etc, yes it is good for your logic building but if you are not getting job after solving LeetCode Problems or after doing Hackathons then I think you are wasting your time. I have done different hackathons, like HackerRank, Turings Problems and LeetCode problems, and I have done this when there was no GPT just Google only, but these are just for your logic buildings. You only become a developer or entrepreneur when you have real-time problem rather than these hard-coded static problems, when you solve these real-time problem, then you will be a good developer. If you are failing to get jobs after these certificates and hackathons then you have serious problem in your logic which are causing you to fail interview. What's your opinion?? #leetcode #problemsolving #dsa #datastructures #algorithms #javascript #lahore #pakistan #software #js #react #hackerrank #turing #hackathons #web #webdeveloper #webdevelopement #india #unitedstates #faisalabad #uaf

🚀 Exciting Update from the #100DayJSChallenge! 🚀 Welcome to Day 34 of our journey, fellow developers! Today's task is all about honing our skills in JavaScript arrays with a fun challenge: writing a function to remove duplicates from an array. 💻🔍 In today's task, we're diving into the heart of array manipulation by creating a custom function called removeDuplicates. This function will take an array of elements as input and return a new array with duplicate elements removed. 🔄 With this challenge, we're not only sharpening our problem-solving skills but also exploring efficient ways to handle data in JavaScript. By understanding how to work with arrays and eliminate duplicates, we're strengthening our foundation as developers and expanding our toolkit for future projects. 💡 #thapatechnical #coding #javascript #india #programmerlife github-repo: https://lnkd.in/gH3p7k6c

I did a thing. It was big. I completed an intense, challenging, and incredibly rewarding 8-month journey learning Java and JavaScript (among many other things). It was a humbling experience and I have never been so challenged in my life. Incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow and develop new skills! Thank you to LaunchCode and everyone who supported me through this journey. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!! Edit to add why this was a humbling experience: It was a humbling experience because it made me aware of my own limitations, the challenges of the field, and the support and learning required to excel in it. Learning Java and JavaScript, especially in an intense 8-month program, was challenging to say the least. The sheer complexity and depth of these languages made me realize how much there is to learn in the world of programming. I encountered numerous errors and setbacks along the way. These experiences can humble anyone because they highlight that even with hard work, mistakes are part of the learning process. As I progressed, I made sure to look back at my earlier work which made me see how much I had grown. Recognizing my initial struggles was humbling because it reminded me of my own limitations. The support from LaunchCode and others was crucial. I was humbled recognizing that I didn't achieve this alone and that there's a broader community that helped me succeed. And last but not least- programming is a field that's always evolving. The realization that there's always more to learn and improve upon can be humbling, as it emphasizes the need for ongoing growth and development. #Java #JavaScript #softwaredevelopment #LearningOpportunities #webdev #readytowork

🎙️ Candid Conversations : Tales from the Interviewer's Chair My colleague and I have been assisting with hiring for our team recently, and it's been quite a journey. We learned about an entirely new face of IT industry, how it's working, what it is producing and what sustains. 🔍 Blueprint: Unveiling the Unexpected We initially explored candidates from programming training institutes expecting they will have basic knowledge they can contribute to projects with one or two months of industry training. Surprisingly, none of the 180 candidates from different institutes we interviewed could answer fundamental questions like parsing an object. Everyone of them was asking to give them an assignment and they can do it, they are just not familiar with basics. When we assigned projects, we received identical copies, didn't even think of changing the variable names. Lesson learned. 💡 Simplified Solution: Shifting Perspectives Given the initial setback, we shifted our focus to experienced candidates. We combed through almost all prominent job sites. We started considering only ones with minimum two or three year industry experience. We were astonished by the lack of basic language execution understanding among candidates who have been working with a language for years and the zero effort on updating themselves in the area of their expertise. One individual claimed Angular8 was the latest version, while another asserted to have released Angular18 personally. We were even inspired with the idea for a book. Plan B faced its own challenges. 🚀 Creative Pivot: Embracing Change Now, we're adopting a new hiring strategy. Let's see how it unfolds for us :) #HiringInsights #CandidConversations #ITIndustry #InnovationInHiring
