When I was a kid, I always knew that when I grew up, I would need a job--more specifically, a job with "insurance." Upon reaching adulthood, I was surprised to learn that "insurance" was a blanket term for as vast an array of options as there are fried cheese curds in Milwaukee**, and that employer-offered "insurance" options varied just as widely in quality and cost. Both as an employee and as an HR leader, I have had the opportunity to see the impact that comprehensive insurance coverage can have on employee wellness, retention, and job satisfaction. On flip side, I have also witnessed the toll that meager or costly coverage can take on employees, particularly those who are already earning lower wages. My challenge to employers: reflect on ways your benefits package can stand out among your peers. Don't settle for competitive--find ways to bring outstanding coverage to your employees. **for any out-of-towners/vegans/lactose-intolerants, that means A LOT of options, only one of which is Lakefront Brewery (the G.O.A.T.)** #healthinsurance #employeebenefits #bethebest #employeewellness #mkehr

As we build Jolo , I've seen and heard some interesting benefits such as monthly wellness stipends, company sponsored ClassPass, 100% paid health insurance, and more. This has me wondering, what are some other ideas for creative and desireable benefits? I love to travel so I was thinking an annual travel stipend to encourage time off and time away. What are some other ideas? Don't worry about practicality or "how would that work." This is a public brainstorming session and a safe space. Drop your ideas in the comments. All ideas are welcome. Who knows, as Jolo grows maybe we'll adopt some of your ideas for our benefits. After all, we are built for the people. #benefits #recruiting #corporateresponsibilities

Reinventing customer experience in the World of Employee Benefits, Personal Insurance and General Insurance space.
"I'm so happy I have gotten the Group Insurance for my company" I reached out to Karl Phaan from Foqus Capital Pte Ltd earlier this year when we were introduced by Lionel Lee . I was keen to know if he has implemented any #employeebenefit in his company. A key discussion whenever i speak to a #businessowner. His employees have been with him for many years, though the thought of giving employee benefit has been on his mind, but it didnt materialised. He mentioned he has reached out to a couple of his own consultants and asked about Group Insurance but none came back to him. He thought Group Insurance was only meant for companies with a decent headcount eg 10. He was surprised when I told him, a minimum headcount of 2 is good enough to start. "I wasn't even aware and no one told me 2 is good to start, if you didnt tell me, I wouldn't even know!". And that was how we started, to get his company onboard for Group Insurance coverage, discussed what was needed and me personally involved from start to post completion. 6 months down the road, i caught up with him last week, and asked him how has the Group Insurance benefited him and the employees. In his own words "It's the best thing ever. I have fell sick a few times the past few months and all I need to do is to flash the medical card and just walk out of the clinic without paying anything". His employee nodded her head with agreement. His only regret was not adding another line of coverage of which he said he is definitely reviewing next year to add on. With premium of less than $50* per month per headcount but with coverage such as cashless #outpatient visits, 4 digit pa outpatient #specialist coverage and a 6 digit #term life coverage. It's definitely more #value than what the premium paid. Employee Benefits shouldn't be viewed as an expense to a company but a benefit to employees and company when it comes to managing #healthcare cost and #welfare. Agree? *𝑠𝑢𝑏𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑏𝑎𝑛𝑑 #groupinsurance #employeebenefits #welfare #sme #businessowner #hr
