Job seekers are exhausted. Worn out. Depressed. Frustrated. Disgusted. Endless interviewing. Endless waiting. Endless ghosting. A client of ours was interviewing with 4 companies simultaneously. Between in person meetings, presentations, Zoom calls and 'just one more interview' before expecting an offer, he put on the brakes. Between the 4 of them, he'd been interviewed 16 times. After learning that 2 of the companies planned additional interviews, he bowed out of both. He went back to the other 2 and said, "make an offer or I am out."
