Earlier this year Nissan unveiled the new facelifted Qashqai, and with it came the new N-Design trim level. This design grade sits parallel to the Tekna trim in a new diamond structure for the Qashqai specs. Since the Visia is no longer available that only leaves the Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, and Tekna+ models that sit below and above the Tekna and N-Design models. In this video I explore the N-Design grade and the styling upgrades that come with it. There are some exterior changes and some interior features that may be attractive to some buyers. I also take the car out on the road and see how the N-Design changes improve (or not) the driving experience. For reference, I drove the Tekna model in my previous video which is the same price. Introducing a spacious third row, this model fills a void in Lexus’ offerings, combining luxurious amenities with a more practical aspect. Priced starting at $61,200 for the AWD base model and $68,100 for the fully loaded luxury trim, let’s see what it’s got. Love it or hate it, Lexus’s spindle grille has stayed the same over the years. However, I’m happy to say this year’s TX’s exterior design introduces the unified spindle grille. In my opinion, it’s a far better-looking design, especially if you opt for the Eminent White Pearl paint. Ours, sporting a Nightfall Mica blue finish, looks a little more subdued. The 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Cabriolet is a true gem. Its beauty is timeless and its design is simply irresistible. Among the most desirable variations were the two-door models, the 280 SE Cabriolet and Coupe, which were virtually hand-built automobiles. The leather upholstery was thick and comfortable, the ride quality and handling were superb, and the acres of wood trim throughout the interior were all genuine solid hardwood, accented by the gentle use of brightwork. It's no wonder why these cars rapidly became favorites of international socialites and celebrities, frequently seen cruising in all of the world's most posh destinations. The 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet is slightly confusingly named, but its rarity, performance, handling, and craftsmanship are all blended perfectly into a design that has become iconic. In the two years that these final W111 models were produced, just 1,232 Cabriolet versions came into existence, making it a highly sought-after classic Mercedes-Benz model among collectors today.

A Timeless Swede: Unveiling the 1965 Volvo 122S This restored beauty isn't your average classic car. It's a meticulously crafted homage to Swedish engineering, blending vintage charm with modern upgrades. Dressed in a rare "19" color combination of black and red, this 122S has undergone a comprehensive restoration over the past 6,000 miles. The original engine purrs with renewed life, thanks to serviced and retuned carburetors. But beneath the hood lies a hint of its spirited soul – performance spark-plug wires and a throaty sport exhaust system. Swapping the original transmission for a manual one adds a layer of control and engagement for the driver. The restoration extends beyond the mechanicals. The exterior boasts a renewed shell, with replacements for the front nose, inner fenders (both front and rear), rockers, rear quarter panels, and more.
