When we first started off, we were a more supernovas or telemedicine services. Over the past few years, we have also evolved. So we all evolve as well. And what we have done in the past few years is that we have expanded into offline healthcare services. We also expanded into not just primary care where we started, we are also now in specialist care as well. So through our platform you can see ophthalmologist, urologist. Gynecologists and so forth, right? And why are we doing all these things at the end of it? What is our vision? But I'll vision is to be able to build a. Decentralized hospital, A hospital without meds. The challenge for us and exciting part for us is understanding the various components of the hospital. Deconstruct them. Modularize them. Decentralize them away from one single building. That's where we can actually bring down the cost of healthcare. But if you want to decode the mind of an entrepreneur and you can't do that, you can't do the surgery on the mind of an entrepreneur without going to their childhood and early influences. So tell us take us back while to you're really early influences. It could be your childhood. What were you doing? At what stage did you realize that you want to become an entrepreneur? How early was that? Who were your first influencers? And yeah, take us back to. Will 20 years back then, so unlike most of us here, I can grow up in a even complete family, right? So my mom passed away was five and then my dad went to went to jail when I was five years old as well, right. So I grew up with my grandmother. I have, I would say survival survivability issue back there. So I remember when I was in primary school, what I will do is that I will bought by stickers. I will cut them up. And they will sell them as earrings. I will bug by for like I think $2.00. So each pair for $0.20. So then that made me some money back then, right? You might think that it is insignificant, but that difference between I get meat for my lunch or not. That really helped to train my mind in and see things very differently. And the other instance is when I was much younger, right? I was actually almost written by a guy. Really, really, really right. So it's just this very. This very nice guy taking care of me and one day one you know, why don't we go have some do it. I love do it cool, right? So we drove off to somewhere and then suddenly start touching my lecture and what were you doing right and actually ran away right. But why is it that I bought this? The example is because that taught me that in life. If you read the situation wrongly. That difference can be life or death for anybody and in business. Entrepreneurship. These are all very, very valuable skills. No, I'm talking about our tech stack. I would say that we are like extremely advanced because healthcare. Frankly, tagged is extremely low bar. Some of us here work in healthcare. You know that Healthcare is not is not something that you utilize high level of complexity in terms of technology. In fact, when you're too advanced. People don't don't, don't trust it. People don't use it. We have not sorted out infrastructure behind it as well. Like for example, for doctors, you need medical malpractice insurance and so forth. Are we ready for all these things? I don't think so, right. So I think we are still. Quite a long way from there again. Things can move very quickly as well. I don't know, right? But today where I see most of the tag being used is probably more useful in enabling nurses, enabling doctors again, shifting down the cost curve, right? Increasing efficiency. Enabling productivity, that's where I think it will be the most use case for it. And that's something that, you know, we are trying very, very hard to work on for the future of healthcare. Would say that digital infrastructure, that backbone really needs to be there for us to really sort of drive change and healthcare, which you know, it's something I'm really passionate about. So my question to you is how are you looking at like where you holding out say that digital backbone and infrastructure that's really needed to really facilitate the. Future of healthcare right where it's truly decentralized. Um, how are you guys approaching that healthcare data sharing? Even storage. Is today just absolutely hockey? Right. And that's why to be able to do a, to be able to get to what I mentioned about our vision at DA to get to decentralized form. We need to be able to tackle healthcare data uniformity. Right. To be able to bring them, put them in the right structure to be able to and not just right structure for this year. OK, so the other thing is this, right? I'm sure most of us here have done our own house screening. Do you know that actually just by doing singular screening, it means very little? What you actually need is actually not, you know. Be the so the trend is very important for any physician to be able to give you the right advice, right And yeah, so these are things that I think are very, very important part of building the whole infrastructure to be able to get the whole decentralized healthcare going. Do you worry about the impact of AI and how does it impact your business? Do you have a separate team thinking about AI? What do you think about all of this? My lab really thinks about AI my right reading all this business. Yeah, no, everyone should be afraid of AI. AI is a bit, it's still in its infancy stage right now. But the problem with this thing called AI is that this kid, this this, this baby is very, very smart. And this baby can learn things at a tremendous speed. They can grow up very quickly. So it's not about the current state of where we are, and it's about how fast it can grow. That eventually you can replace. All jobs right? Laughing Ilamas measured it right said that in few years time most of us will be out shop and we are looking really because we want to pass time right not to not because you're earning money right? And I think that's an proof to it. I would add that for but good sector you would take a bit longer to disrupt 1 of it is healthcare. Why? Because you can go straight the Internet for any kind of data. But there are two sectors that you have less information on, right? One is healthcare, the other one is your own finances. Right. So I think Healthcare is something that at the end of it you, you still need to work with HealthCare Partners to be able to get some of this data. Healthcare is very peaceful. My medical need, my healthcare needs depends on my gender, my age. My race and so forth, right? And what's applicable in the US? Americans are different from Asians. So, so because of the huge difference, that's why you find that in the sector that will benefit from Gemini and it shouldn't be disrupted to us yet again, because today in healthcare, if you look around, it's an extremely inefficient space. Very efficient and with China I, it should help to again disrupt the space and hopefully it brings benefits to all of us here as healthcare consumers. You talked about benefits of using AI for medical staff, productivity, efficiency. On the other hand, you talked about ethical and legal challenges around using AI for diagnosis recommendations. How are you thinking about where to draw the line today between where you can use I, I? Versus where you have to use human beings. And how, if any, is that changing overtime for you? So, so when in doubt, always use a human being. And, and, and I might say in jest, but in healthcare it is true, right? Because we always say this, right? One mistake is a mistake too many. Because when you recommend a wrong medication to somebody and somebody consume it, it can be a moment of life or death. Jenny I AI is always used to make. The experience better, lower the cost, more efficient, more, more, more productivity, right. We are still traveling a few products out there, right. One of the things that is very interesting for us is, is right if we do have a I do as a medical secretary. The moment I see the patient as a doctor, the first question to ask is, hey, hey Mary, how's your back doing? Right. It can be anyone on that phone, any doctor on that phone. But because today we are, we are so good at presenting those data to our own physician, to own doctor and straight away it can be any doctor, young, old, junior or not, doesn't matter but the moment. My daughter goes to consult with Perry because the AFI say Perry has a constant back issue. My very first question is very hot. So bad when I like you know. That that absolutely totally alleviated for experience altogether, right? And being very efficient in just going to what is the problem here very efficiently reducing medical errors, right? And imagine that kind of journey for both the doctors and the patient. These are things that I think you will be very beneficial from an AI point of view in healthcare. Is the chances of success is a lot lower if you are not integrated? Whereas integrated means that you have to control the journey from primary care to secondary care to tertiary care and eventually back to Wellness. I use exercise as a as a form to distress right? So I go for. Jobs on weekends every day. If I can, I would do some body weight as well, right? And it does help to really. Makes all my body and so that kind of step in it, I can be smiling and talking and 1:00 and then suddenly someone texts me and problem A, problem B and other. Right, here we go again, right? And because of that, all the other things that I also always, because I do have some friends waterfront as well, I always tell them that it's very, very, very important. To know where to detach. Yeah, because there are just too many worries in life, right? But if you don't learn to detach. Depression. Right, But you have to be able to take yourself out of yourself. And say that OK, screw this **** just for this tonight, screw this **** and do what you wanna do and do what you do. Wonderful. Screw this ****. Hashtag through the ship. What does success mean to you? I would like to you when when I first started off, there was definitely that greet. In money. Right, everyone also thinking that you know, if you start a company and it grows to somewhat semi successful, you might be able to set it off and. Make some money, right? We are not there yet, right? But. The honest truth is that although. That was part of the motivation that when it was started. It's a lot about responsibility, it's a lot about changing industry. People expect for the same thing where leadership, leadership in leading the team leadership in the industry. Maybe to put it shortly, right, success means to me is really to be able to continue to do what I'm doing, hopefully with a team of people who would trust me and I will trust them as well and eventually try to there will be no it will always be suffering through instead of always be suffering right but. Will you be able to find some fun and that pain and suffering and eventually, hopefully at least for for me, I can change how Healthcare is being done in Singapore, in the region. And that to me would be. Perhaps some also. Waiting for the conversation. I I'm very curious what is something that that that used to be important to you or younger and it doesn't matter right now as you grow your business or you're like. Money. I showed you my growing up, right? It was not the easiest journey for me, so money was really important for me. But I think as we all grow. One of the one of the things is. People always ask me, right? So why? Why did you start? Why did you decide to? Leave a very, very comfortable job. To do what you are doing. The honest answer is that the very moment I decided was based on their wanna leave my job was based on data, right? What's the data? I just took all my credit card bills and then look at what I'm spending on. My transaction has not changed that much. The only thing that increased in my monthly cash burn is probably the mortgage that I bought because I want to host. But to me that's also an investment in the savings as well, right? That's when I realized that when you have a. Learning follow up and it's anytime you are very grounded, you maintain your like your lifestyle. That's when the the value that you see in money will suddenly managed not to see. It doesn't matter anymore right? If you made this, but it's no longer as precious as before. It's an incredible thank you given us a lot of positivism today. The two highlights for me were the value of money diminishes as you grow and then things are piling onto you. Screw this ****.
