Returned Thursday from an unforgettable experience at the #SHRM2024 Annual Conference alongside an incredible 26k+ SHRM members and leaders in the Human Resource field. I had the opportunity to study for my #SHRM-SCP certification with global industry leaders, observe presenters like Sarah Noll Wilson in her “Rebuilding Connections: Navigating Conflict and Repairing Relationships at Work” session, remember to “do it afraid” as per Sherry Shepherd, Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show host, comedian, actress, and bestselling author. As well as meditate on SHRM President and Chief Executive Officer Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP message...”HR professionals who are at the center of it all: Embrace the challenge and run into the storm”... urging HR leaders to address the challenges head-on by upskilling employees, embracing AI, and practicing civility. The conference was insightful, motivating, and provided essential takeaways to enhance our HR practices. Not to mention, provided plentiful networking opportunities with influential, impactful, and it likeminded HR professionals ready to connect in a meaningful way. Looking forward to continuing conversations started with new connection, introducing new strategies and resources, and completing my SHRM-SCP Certification! Many thanks to everyone who made this conference an unforgettable experience!!! Overall a 20 out of 10 experience! I look forward to #SHRM2025
