MNA ENERGY SDN BHD is proud to have been invited to the Battery Swapping Station (BSS) – Stakeholder Engagement Meeting organised by NanoMalaysia Berhad on 4th August 2023 at Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. NanoMalaysia Berhad, in collaboration with the Motorcycle and Scooter Assemblers and Distributors Association of Malaysia (MASAAM), led the stakeholder engagement meeting. The BSS offers more than just convenience; it represents a leap towards more sustainable and efficient urban mobility solutions. By significantly reducing charging time compared to traditional methods and alleviating grid stress during simultaneous charging, the BSS is poised to revolutionize the way we think about electric vehicles. The productive meeting gathered key stakeholders from Ministries, Agencies, and Industry Players where the stakeholders’ meeting members unanimously reiterated their support for the BSS Consortium as the national way forward. The primary objectives of the BSS Standardisation Consortium include the standardisation and harmonisation of the BSS system to enable cross-brand battery swapping, establishing a platform for stakeholder involvement, reducing the price of EV 2-wheelers, and proposing strategic policies for the deployment of BSS in user-convenient areas as a quicker alternative to direct charging thus expediting electric motorbike ownership increase in Malaysia aiding the country to further reduce national carbon emission. The consortium comprises six essential parts: the Standard and Certification Bodies, Policy Adviser, Policy Committee, Technical Committee, Battery Specification & Testing, and Vehicle & External Surface. Importantly, the BSS initiative resonates deeply with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). At MNA ENERGY, we are proud to be part of a movement that aligns so closely with our commitment to sustainable energy solutions. Together, let's drive change, reduce our carbon footprint, and create a world that thrives on clean, efficient energy. #MNAENERGY #Sustainability #CleanEnergy #EVs #BSS #Innovation #ClimateAction #SDGs #GreenMobility #EMobility #batteryenergystorage

Capturing Growth in Indonesia’s Emerging EV Ecosystem. Indonesia’s electric-vehicle market is poised for growth. Those who approach the challenges and opportunities with an ecosystem view can create significant value for their business and the climate. Building an EV ecosystem in emerging Indonesia is imperative for the country to accelerate consumer uptake and achieve a climate goals. Building today’s EV ecosystems means radically building out the EV value chain by stimulating both supply and demand sides of the equation. This requires greater investment in partnerships, infrastructure and technology development, accelerated low-cost EV model distribution (with total cost of ownership at or ahead of parity with internal combustion engines), integrated finance, government incentives to encourage EV adoption and discourage ICE, and a supporting green investment framework. Thank you for the certificate of recognition given to us together with other stakeholders during Indonesia 2nd EV Industry Summit organized by Escom. #voltron #chargingstation #electriccar #mobillistrik #indonesiaexpert #chargepointoperator #evdigitaltechnology
