The role a teacher plays as not only an educator, but a mentor, a friend, a confidant, and a trusted adult is so critical to the success of students at our programs. Teachers drive the change we can see from students in their education, which directly impacts their overall life. Here are some things to think about when it comes to the education kids are receiving: 🎓Education is one of the main keys to the success for kids. Especially underprivileged kids who often end up as students in our programs. 🎒Education is one of the places where students can feel rewarded, see achievements, and envision success in their future, which is critical for their long term goals. 🏫Education produces hope, which is a powerful feeling. This teachers appreciation week, we want to encourage people everywhere to say thank you to their teacher friends, family, and acquaintances and help advocate for education professionals everywhere.
