Supporting customers for their industrial needs might be what we do, but supporting the PEOPLE in need in our local communities is who we are! Countless families have been impacted by Hurricane Beryl in the Houston area, including some of our own team who sustained damage to their homes. With our headquarters on the Gulf Coast, we know all-too-well the devastation that comes with a direct hit from a Hurricane, and the messy aftermath it leaves in its wake for years to come. But even in tragedies there are always those who rise up to the challenge. Often, the worst times can bring out the best in people. 💪 As Mr. Rogers would say: "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping." Which brings us to the point of this post... ➡Houston, we're asking you to help us help the helpers! If you know of a local organization or non-profit that's doing great things to help in the aftermath of Beryl, please drop their names or tag them in the comments below. With the start of hurricane season, being less than a week away now is the perfect time to check on what supplies you currently have so that you have time to restock. Here are 3 things you can check for: 💊 Check to see if any of the emergency supplies have expired. Some medications may be less potent after the expiration date. 💗 Check to make sure all supplies are age appropriate. If your family has grown, you may need additional supplies. 🧽 Make sure nothing is damaged or leaking in your supply container.
