Stop treating BDRs as the garbage disposals of bad RevOps. No matter how many systems or pieces of software companies throw at BDRs, we are not changing the fact that prospecting is a difficult job to learn. It's unrealistic to expect BDRs to both learn their own job as well as make up for shoddy and incomplete Revenue Operations by acting as their own list operations, copywriters, researchers, system admins, business analysts, and internal auditors. Help BDRs land on their feet by offloading the revenue operations tasks that should not be on their plate. Their activity will go up, their results will go up, and they'll ramp to the moon.

“I tried that and it didn’t work” - a mini case study on perspective. 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 🤔: I met a salesperson struggling with no responses from enterprise companies. Initial thoughts leaned towards redefining our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 🔁: In our follow-up meeting a month later, the same stories resurfaced—deeply ingrained and unresolved. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 🔍: Decided to delve deeper into one recurring story, uncovering two 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒔 that needed validation.
