KUDOS TO CAPE COD HOSPITAL!! From Sixth Semi-Annual Hospital Price Transparency Report Feb 2024 https://lnkd.in/eXTFsVpD "Among the 689 compliant hospitals, some posted exemplary files – easily accessible, downloadable, machine-readable, and including all negotiated rates by payer and plan: ▪ Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, MA" Results: Based on our review, we estimate that only 34.5% of the 2,000 hospitals (689/2,000) are in compliance with all of the price transparency rule requirements. We estimate that 65.5% (1,311/2,000) are noncompliant, because one or more price transparency requirements were not met. Interestingly, 103 of the hospitals we found to be noncompliant in our July 2023 report are now compliant; however, 135 of the hospitals deemed compliant in the July 2023 report were found to be noncompliant in this report. 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞’𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: With almost 1,900 hospitals, and a total capacity of around 500,000 𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐬, Germany has the largest hospital sector in Europe. With spending already in the 𝐄𝐔𝐑 100 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 region, close to 17 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 received treatment in 2020, with an average hospitalization period of seven days. The majority of the largest hospitals are university hospitals, of which there are a total of 36 across the country #germany
