Let’s talk about how ecommerce is affecting road safety. More online shopping = more delivery vans on the road. Since it’s #NationalSafetyMonth, I wanted to share this recent study from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Biggest takeaway for me is that advanced #vehiclesafety features could prevent or reduce nearly 40% of fatal crashes involving work vans. Our Ford #Transit and #ETransit come standard with 2 of the 4 features outlined in this study: front crash prevention and lane departure prevention (blind spot detection is also available as an add-on).
