The Tengable team was finally able to reunite for an all-hands lunch after spending too much time apart. Here are some highlights 📝: 🔸 In Q4 the team and pace of work almost doubled with the additions of Natalie Zlotnikov and Dana Ben Artzi. 🔸 We share a determination to bring our tactile sense restoration solution to market as quickly as possible––further motivated by the many injured in the current conflict. 🔸 Even though we met to catch up, the conversation quickly turned to technical discussions and executing the roadmap. 🔸 As there is no effective treatment to restore tactile sensation, we understand our responsibility to help the many million victims of industrial accidents, women after a mastectomy, and diabetics with neuropathy, and we are rushing to help. 🔸 Not pictured here is Dr. Amir Arami, our Chief Medical Officer and Head of the Hand Surgery and Microsurgery department at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. Dr. Arami barely leaves the OR as he is committed to helping others and treating the many wounded from the war. Spot on! Working in older operating rooms with older technologies is a real challenge, for many hospitals/surgeons, in our efforts to optimize outcomes. From antiquated HVAC systems, small sized ORs and more, we are constantly being asked to improve outcomes and yet these challenges are outside of our hands. It really sets up the most expert surgeons at the top of their games, with years of training and sacrifices to be there, for unintended suboptimal outcomes- including infections. Infection prevention starts with “clean ambient room air” with the latest and greatest technologies(ex Avidicare OR system)to compliment some of the brightest and most technically proficient surgeons.
