Last week our Hunt Valley interns traveled to Camden Yards to cheer on the Baltimore Orioles as they faced off against the Texas Rangers. The game was a big win for the Orioles and our interns!
I have mixed feelings about this.

🍌🎉 Big shoutout to the Savannah Bananas for proving that going bananas over your brand can indeed peel away the conventional layers of marketing and expose the fruit of success! 🎉 Who would have thought that a baseball team named after a fruit could teach us all a masterclass in brand growth? The Savannah Bananas have shown us that the secret sauce (or should we say, the secret smoothie?) to game-changing success is a simple, yet often overlooked recipe: love your customers and put your people first. In a world where businesses often swing for the fences, the Savannah Bananas have hit a grand slam by focusing on creating a fan experience that’s as appealing as their name. It’s not just about the baseball; it’s about the entertainment, the engagement, and the sheer joy they bring to their community and fans. They’ve turned their games into a first class cirque type circus of fun, proving that when you love your customers more than your product, you turn spectators into die-hard fans. So, here’s to the Savannah Bananas 🥂, for reminding us that in the serious game of business, a little humor, a lot of love, and putting your people first can make you the top banana in your field. May your bunch continue to grow, and may we all take a page from your playbook and inject a little more fun and love into what we do. CONGRATS Jesse Cole - keep crushing it! #SavannahBananas #BrandGrowth #CustomerLove #PeopleFirst #BusinessHumor
The Savannah Bananas just Sold Out Fenway Park. As a kid I had the dream of playing for the Red Sox at Fenway but could have never imagined our small town team from Savannah could accomplish something like this. From selling only a handful of tickets in our first few months to now selling out one of the most iconic venues in sports is beyond special. I'm so proud of our organization for making this happen. I will never stop dreaming big, but it's all of my amazing teammates and Banana Nation who made this happen. This is just the start and we are still in the first inning. But June 8th will be a day I will never forget.

Glad to see trade schools making a comeback! With the rising demand for skilled workers in fields like construction, diesel tech, and computer technology, it's no surprise that enrollment in trade schools has been on the rise. According to recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, occupations requiring vocational training are projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations. It’s great to see our leaders recognizing the importance of hands-on training and specialized skills in meeting the demands of the workforce. What other factors do you think are contributing to this renewed interest in trade education?
Lt. Governor Jon Husted was at the Southern Hills Career & Technical Center's groundbreaking ceremony yesterday! The expansion project was made possible by a $4.6 million Career Technical Construction Program grant, helping the school expand their facility to add two new programs – Welding Fabrication and Allied Health Care – to serve up to 100 additional students.

My role is as much about financial education, as it is about financial planning, so a former Headteacher and the transferable skills he brings is a perfect fit for our profession🧑🏫🏫🚸 #kingswood #financialeducation #transferableskills #backtoschool
