"Explore the latest update on my university project, a fascinating endeavor in the realm of real-time monitoring and control systems! Our project showcases a remarkable integration of Arduino-based sensors with a MATLAB user interface, designed to provide comprehensive monitoring and control capabilities. Central to our project is the meticulously crafted PCB, meticulously designed using the powerful KiCad software. This ensures robustness and accuracy in capturing vital data points such as turbine speed, voltage output, and dam water levels. The system relies on the calibration of three variable resistors to ensure precise sensor readings. Visual feedback is facilitated through the use of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), offering intuitive insights into the collected data. A notable aspect of our project is its intelligent control mechanism. In situations where turbine speed or electricity generation exceeds safe thresholds, the system autonomously triggers a shutdown sequence to prevent potential hazards. Once optimal conditions are restored, the system seamlessly resumes operation, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

I'd like to share my recent project for Automatic Control's course where I developed position control system for servo motor using PID. I used Arduino Uno, Servo Motor, Ultrasonic Sensor & Keypad. I’m thrilled to share my latest project:-Automated and Manual Control System using AVR Microcontroller *This project designs and implements an embedded system using the AVR microcontroller to automate and manually control various devices such as DC motors, stepper motors, and sensors (gas, temperature, and infrared). The system provides two modes of operation: manual and automatic. In manual mode, users can interact with the system via UART communication to control the DC motor and stepper motor. In automatic mode, the system continuously monitors the environment using sensors and controls the devices accordingly. Hey everyone! 🚗🔌I'm converting an old Volvo to full electric using a repurposed forklift traction motor. 🤔What sort of chip or controller should I use in conjunction with the Arduino to give the +12v/-12V pulsing needed to cycle the IGBT? Here’s my setup: 1️⃣ 2 large IGBTs 2️⃣ Capacitors 3️⃣ Assembly 🤔Why do I prefer using Arduino? Arduino for control since it's elegant and simple. However, I realized motor controller boards handle big power differently. 🤔So, how to control the IGBT? The HCPL-3120 unit seems straightforward to wire and should be controllable by Arduino's PWM signal. Just need to figure out the resistor sizing as per the datasheet. Successfully completed my project on a Small-Scale DC Dynamometer for RPM and Torque Measurement! 🌟 PART - 1 (RPM Measurement) 🔍 Me and my team consisting of Anush K, Balaji Karthik, sanjai sanj aimed to develop a precise RPM measurement system for DC motors using an optical encoder and specialized circuitry. With components like the optical encoder, Arduino Uno, and tailored circuitry, we engineered an accurate dynamometer for in-depth motor performance analysis. 🔧 The dynamometer offers detailed insights into motor behavior, providing not only RPM data but also crucial torque measurements which will be posted later in PART - 2. This capability is pivotal in optimizing motor performance and efficiency across diverse applications and industries. 👨🔬 This endeavor has been an enlightening journey, highlighting the significance of precise measurements in maximizing motor efficiency.
