In 2020, I delved into Thomas Krause and Kristen Bell's book on safety leadership and #precursors of SIFs. This enlightening read changed my view on how to preventing serious incidents. Today (a few years later), I’ve been exposed to this paper, thanks to Colum Stewart. The study challenges common sense and underscores the significance of #WorkPlanning and #SIF_Critical_Controls in averting SIFs. It also states that Human Factors are less associated with the occurence of SIFs. Of course! People are not the problem, they are the solution!
