East Asian countries are ageing, and not enough babies are being born to support the population. The rise of anti-feminist sentiment threatens to make the region’s demographic decline even worse https://econ.st/3XIju0L Illustration: Anuj Shrestha

Maybe the main reasons remain job expectations and the prospects in future. Global insecurity, new AI generation and potential of wars are additional impacts on young people's lives. Not just young people, we are also at the crossroads of the coming future. Do we have to back to school every 5 or 10 years to learn something new in our life? How much money in your savings account to support it? Unthinkable demand of the society for the younger generations. How do the younger generations face this demand at this age?

China is suffering from the greatest male to female ratio rift in human history. There are approximately 30-40 million prime age single males who statistically can't find wives within China. That's a breeding ground for distain and protest against government policies. Ambitious young men who can't find a wife, that frustration can manifest itself in many different ways.

It is hard for a man to seek a woman and it is harder for a woman to find a man. That being so, lots of marriageable women in China will be looking outside their shores to find husbands.
