Congratulations on the acquisition. However, you also acquired a lot more carbon footprint to offset with your Renewable Energy 100% goal by 2030. Are you going to put yourself at the mercy of buying your renewable energy from the market, or are you going to start owning the production of the majority of your energy needs? If you want to produce your own energy, you REALLY need to step up your game. On page 9 of your 2022 ESG report you showed 0 progress on the chart for Renewable Energy 100 by 2030. On page 11 you show electricity generated of 300,600 MWh. In the 2023 ESG, page 109, you showed electricity generated of 283,100. This is about a 5% reduction. Same page, Energy Consumption within Organization is 6,015,800, much bigger now with the acquisition. If you need 20 times more renewable energy to offset total use, how can you reach your goal while losing ground?

Congrats!!! Distribution centers all across the continent are joining the Matium Network to connect with local recyclers who purchase their scrap materials including OCC, LD film, etc. This helps large brands like The Home Depot and SRS Distribution Inc. support local businesses/supply chains, optimize their bottom line by creating a competitive market for their recyclable materials, and decrease their carbon footprint by having scrap materials move shorter distances (this also helps freight costs).
