Testing is an exciting phase in the design process, but which type of prototype is ideal for mobile? The answer depends on the feedback you seek. A low-tech paper prototype or simple wireframe might suffice for basic functionality or user flow testing. A mixed-fidelity prototype can test basic functions and flows while offering the benefit of tapable elements. A high-fidelity prototype is more suitable for evaluating complex interactions like animations, gestures, or transitions. These prototypes closely resemble the final product, incorporating visual design and, at times, live code. Continue learning here 👉 https://bit.ly/45EdtSP

Are your designs stuck in 2002? Mine were. 20 years ago, websites and apps looked a lot different. For the most part, the interactions were pretty simple and static. Click a link --> go to a new screen. But modern apps and websites are dynamic. They’re packed with animations, movement, micro-interactions, and transitions to create a smooth, seamless experience. Our newest 2-week course is launching soon. Join the waitlist, and learn to design beautiful interactive prototypes that look and feel like the real thing. Break free from the limits of static screens and basic prototyping tools. Learn to design beautiful interactive prototypes that look and feel like the real thing in just 2 weeks. Join the waitlist and be the first to know when it launches (& get a sweet early-bird discount! Join the waitlist here 👉 https://lnkd.in/e6MfCvPn

Designer & Founder of Wheatley Digital - Helping B2B SaaS scaleups boost conversions, attract enterprise clients and grow MRR.
It's important for every designer to go through the "fluff" stage. To truly develop your skills to the extreme, you need to push the boundaries. For example, when building your knowledge of user experience, it's important to go a bit wild with animations. Not on client sites—maybe just on non-live practice sites. But go all out, because this will embed in your DNA what too much looks like, what too little looks like, and what the perfect balance—your Goldilocks zone—looks like. Experience >> theory. Don’t get trapped in the cycle of talking; just do.

Quick UI Study When it comes to design we all like to experiment and play around. This past week I played around with using a mask with smart animate. Might do another quick study sometime later as well! ☺️ Do you guys enjoy messing around with masks too? 🤔 #uidesign #figma #uxdesigner #masking #prototype
