Finally a quick update on the 'Free branding for impact' project I initiated quite some time ago. Yes, it has taken a while, but exciting things have happened. As mentioned earlier, I was pretty overwhelmed by well over 30 submissions. Every single one had a lot of potential to make a positive social and/or environmental impact. But I had to pick one, and with the help of my friend Kees Klomp we've selected a project that resonated most with us: the Amsterdam-based Rooftop Revolution. In a nutshell, Rooftop Revolution is dedicated to transform the roof-landscape in urban areas. An very ambitious initiative, aiming to be the driving force in its field. Achieving this by changing unused, boring and grey rooftops into more sustainable spaces with highly innovative solutions. Over the past year, we've been collaborating to re-brand Rooftop Revolution’s visual communication. Together we've established a solid brand positioning and some key outlines for us to work with. All with the goal of crafting a compelling new identity. One that better reflects their story, is in line with their long-term ambitions and provides more practical flexibility within the broad media landscape.
