The Knowledge Graph Conference’s Post

Excited to announce the Amazon Web Services (AWS)-The Knowledge Graph Conference GraphRAG Workshop event on Thursday, July 11 complimenting the #AWSSummit New York next week! Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) applications use generative AI to analyze private datasets that have been vectorized by AI/ML embedding models. But baseline RAG can sometime produce poor responses that lack explainability and issues that include conflated sources, spurious claims, and lack of contextual awareness. GraphRAG combines knowledge graphs with RAG to produce explainable responses that are grounded in the semantic relationships between concepts, entities, and the underlying content. In this builders’ session, get hands-on experience with Amazon Neptune, graph notebooks, and LlamaIndex, an open source framework for building RAG applications. You must bring your laptop to participate. Limited spots available! Link to sign up in comments below. #generativeai

Oh - do record and make the session public aftwards! We expect to have a cohort from FIU working a KG RAG project starting in August and would love to have this kind of informed, knowledgeable resource to which to point them.

Update regarding comments: 1/ Unfortunately my flight home is earlier in the day so I will not be attending, but several of my colleagues will be running this. 2/ It may be difficult to record this specific event because it is a hands-on workshop and it wouldn't be very interesting...but as Brad Bebee stated, we should be able to publish this workshop publicly in the near future so stay tuned!
