Our inaugural showcase is coming up quickly, here's a teaser from Inaugural Fellow Agnete Morell, who is testing out AI perception and how relations in virtual spaces differentiate based on how much the system is changing. These are tests from the development phase of her ecosystem, and here's what she has to say about them: "The game questions the relationship between humans (players/users) and non-humans. I aim to create speculative fiction exploring what might be or could be if our relationship with non-humans changes. This is not limited to something that appears entirely natural (such as the current depiction of deer; the narrative might evolve before the showcase, as the primary focus is to refine the system and questions how these relationships change depending on the systems design, thinking and behaviour for the user and the artificial ecosystem). How can we create a sensitive milieu that evolves, considering what lies ahead for the concept of 'being'? Furthermore, I'm exploring ideas of sound within the space, delving into alternative modes of existence and non-existence. What occurs when existence manifests through energy transmission or frequencies? Must one possess physical matter to exist? This question is particularly relevant given our increasingly complex relationships with AI entities lacking physical form (such as interacting with ChatGPT or Alexa). Thus, the red arrow within the demos also explores this concept." Context really is king. Progress MarkLogic has new patent pending technology to reduce text and embedding costs and order of magnitude based on usage patterns. We also have automated a human in the loop way to determine missing parts of the graph based on usage of an enterprises’ AI system. Figuring out the missing parts of the graph very rapidly in an automated fashion completely boosts the context as well.
