📺 Behind the WorkforceMA Episode 1: Investing in Technology Last year, Per Scholas Greater Boston received a grant from Commonwealth Corporation through the Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund to provide technology job training and career services to 200 individuals in greater Boston. Justin joined the program with no previous background in technology. In just four months, he was able to graduate the program and received his CompTIA A+ certification. Congratulations to Jackie, a sophomore at Assabet Valley Regional Vocational School District, studying HVAC, for bringing home a silver medal at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Competition last week! 🥈 Our team was pleased to meet Jackie and her fellow classmates last month when we joined the Massachusetts Executive Office of Education to announce new Skills Capital Grants. When she graduates high school, Jackie plans to enter the workforce as an HVAC technician and contribute to Massachusetts' clean energy and sustainability goals. 👏
