Before "debate" meant a televised contest of political wits, it was a far more violent confrontation—like a battle or beating.

The upcoming TV showdown between Joe Biden and Donald Trump highlights not only the deep divisions in American politics but also the challenges of aging leadership. Both candidates, each controversial in their own right, represent a political system desperately in need of fresh, intelligent, and ethical minds. Biden, with his decades of experience, battles the image of a physically declining incumbent. Trump, on the other hand, continues to polarize with his contentious statements and unpredictable behavior. This debate will not only decide the next four years but could also impact the global political landscape. It’s time for the USA to tap into its rich pool of talented and ethically grounded individuals to usher in a new era of leadership. The upcoming 90 minutes in Atlanta are more than just a show – they are a wake-up call.

I think this is not a debate. It will be a question and answer period. With a fact check to see who really boned up on the numbers. Biden has been for a week, Trump not so much. If you don’t know the answers to the questions, that’s a problem. Trump agreed to the format, my guess not realizing about the fact checkers and not realizing it more of a question and answer session. If he runs out of time they shut him down.
